History: Metzler's Plumbing Company was founded by August "Max" Metzler in 1946. He began as a one-man operation with an occasional additional plumber. Max incorporated the business in the early 1970's, operating out of his home and a remote office on Lafayette Road. In 1984, Max sold the business to his son; and, over the next few years, three more sons got on board. The Metzler brothers moved the business to West 71st Street in the late 1980's where it stayed until it was purchased by Williams Comfort Air in 2008. At that time, there were five plumbers and two apprentice plumbers.

Green: Metzler's Plumbing underwent a GREEN facelift in 2008 when Mr. Metzler sold the business to Williams Comfort Air. Metzler's Plumbing Company became Metzler's Mr. Plumber and hit the roads in a fleet of lime green service vehicles.

Community Involvement: Our company has been successful because of our clients in the community, so we look for ways to give back. We now host an annual Blood Drive in Honor of Michael Treinen, a young Noblesville man who lost his battle with cancer. In 2009, we launched a Community Recognition Program called ExtraordinAIRy Treasures to honor and support different people in our community. We supported the outstanding service efforts of three children and given scholarships to two graduating high school seniors.

Your Feedback: We have never lost sight of our clients though. Our clients have been equally responsible for our success. For their loyalty and kind words to family, friends and neighbors, we are deeply grateful. We plan to continue to exceed their expectations. We also appreciate the feedback of our clients. While we love to hear good things, sometimes we fall short as all people do. When we do, we listen to, learn from and act upon the experiences of our clients. We sometimes make mistakes, but we are committed to taking ownership for and learning from them.

Technical Skills: Metzler's Mr. Plumber is a member of the Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC). We draw on this resource to keep our service knowledge at the top of the field. We currently have nine licensed plumbers, one apprentice plumber and one plumber's helper.
